Staff at the head office of the Considerate Constructors Scheme recently welcomed the Rt Hon. Mark Prisk MP for a tour of their premises at Hoe Lane, Ware.

The Considerate Constructors Scheme recently celebrated the first National Company Awards where registered companies were recognised for their contribution towards improving the image of construction.

The Considerate Constructors Scheme is expanding its Company Registration initiative to cover the registration of trade contractors. Company Registration will enable companies of all types and size, working within the supply chain, to register with the Scheme and enjoy the same benefits that registered sites have enjoyed over the past 14 years.

The Considerate Constructors Scheme offers three films which help to explain what the Scheme does, and to provide support to those who are registered and to those that may be affected by a registered site.

Cruden Building and Renewals Limited are the latest company to be accepted as an Associate Member of the Considerate Constructors Scheme.

The Scheme has published Good Neighbour questionnaires which can be downloaded from the website and used by construction sites or companies to gauge their performance on a project within the local community.

The Considerate Constructors Scheme is pleased to announce the launch of an exciting new initiative aimed at increasing awareness of the potential hazards on a construction site to a younger audience.
