Monitors are contracted on a part-time, self-employed basis. Monitors can be actively employed, semi-retired or retired.

There are two types of Monitoring; Site monitoring, whereby larger sites are visited and Company monitoring where companies are visited.  Monitors refer to a Checklist to see how the Site/Company is performing against the Site/Company Code of Considerate Practice.

The Scheme will cater to the required workload of a Monitor, but this cannot be guaranteed.
