Company Registration support

Below are a number of documents to help everyone understand what it means to be registered with the Scheme. They provide guidance on what a company should do once it has registered, as well as offering help on how to adhere to the Code of Considerate Practice.

The documents below are designed to offer guidance to your company in documenting a number of procedures or plans which help to demonstrate to others that you are a considerate constructor. They can be downloaded and edited to suit your needs along with adding your company's branding to keep for your records.

It is not mandatory to use these documents; they are solely to provide guidance to companies who do not currently have the relevant procedures or plans in place but wish to do so. If your company has already implemented such procedures, these documents may not be applicable to you so please continue with your current operations.

Please note that the documents are to be used as a guide only and do not cover all laws and regulations with which a contractor has to comply with under legislation.

This presentation can be used when inducting operatives to explain how to adhere to the Scheme's Code of Considerate Practice and how their efforts can help improve the image of construction.

This questionnaire can be given to members of the public in order to gauge your level of performance within the local community in which you work.

The Scheme offers two versions:

1.This questionnaire asks to be returned via a prepaid envelope (provided by the company).

2. This questionnaire asks to be returned by hand to a selected location (address/details of where to hand it in can be written on the form before giving it out).

Four informative films, relating to the Scheme and its activities, are available to watch online or download. Alternatively, you can request a copy on DVD from the Scheme’s administration office.

One film provides a general overview of the Scheme, one is for site neighbours affected by works and the other two introduce the Scheme to either the site manager or site operatives.

Although the films do not specifically feature Company Registration, registered companies may find them useful for general Scheme information such as adhering to the Code of Considerate Practice and how to perform beyond compliance.

The Scheme offers a number of additional products for registered companies to purchase that can be used to enhance their registration.
