Blane Judd, Chief Executive of B&ES, says:

This arrangement with the CCS is another benefit that has arisen directly from the acknowledged rigour of the independent inspection and assessment regime to which all B&ES members are subject, and which underwrites their technical competence and commercial capability.

Philip Foster, Construction Sector Director, says:

The objective of client members of BuildingConfidence is to increase supply chain standards in the construction industry and we are keen to work with industry organisations that share these objectives and complement what we do. By working with the CCS, we are able to provide contractors with even more value from having achieved accreditation, and play a more active role in supporting the wider adoption of CCS registration as best practice.

Commenting on the new initiative, Chris Blythe, Chief Executive of the CIOB, says:

The Company Registration Scheme allows those firms currently excluded for registering their sites to be registered for all they do, which has to be a good thing.

The Company Registration Scheme is a logical development of the Considerate Constructors Scheme and will allow for every type and size of construction activity to be registered.  It will demonstrate overall commitment to the Considerate Constructors Scheme.

Philip Prince, Sales and Marketing Director of Constructionline, says:

Registration with the Considerate Constructors Scheme demonstrates a contractor’s commitment to site management, safety and environmental awareness over and above minimum standards.  Joining the scheme raises both the profile of the industry and the company enabling firms to differentiate their business at the all important pre-qualification stage.

Paul Reeve CFIOSH FIEMA, Head of Business Policy and Practice at the Electrical Contractors' Association, says:

We welcome the link between the Electrical Contractors' Association and the Considerate Constructors Scheme, which underlines our respective efforts to support and demonstrate excellence in electrical and building services contracting, and which recognises the technical competence of ECA member contractors.

Julia Evans, Chief Executive of the NFB, says:

Considerate Constructors Scheme Company Registration has very real benefits for both individual companies and for the image of the construction industry as a whole.  I wholeheartedly support the Scheme and encourage NFB members to register and see for themselves the advantages of Scheme membership.
