CCS Strategy Board

John Spanswick CBE joined the Considerate Constructors Scheme Strategy Board on 1 September 2010. John is Group Chairman of Bovis Lend Lease, having worked for the company for over 40 years. He is a Board Member of the HSE and past Chairman of the Major Contractors Group. The Strategy Board oversees the development and direction of the Scheme and John joins Michael Ankers (Construction Products Association who chairs the Board) and Graham Watts (Construction Industry Council), together with three representatives from the CCS Board – Chairman Robert Biggs, John Southworth and Nigel Marks.

Upon his recent appointment, John Spanswick CBE, commented: “I am delighted to have been asked to join the Considerate Constructors Scheme Strategy Board.  I have long been a strong supporter of all that the Scheme has achieved over recent years; I believe it has made a real difference across the whole industry and is viewed very positively by all the sites who participate”.
