Black & Veatch Case Study

Black & Veatch Ltd were awarded the accolade of the UK’s Most Considerate Site 2009 by the Considerate Constructors Scheme for their Glenfarg Water Treatment Works project.

In a rural setting with adjoining village and farm life, this important project required several strands of civil engineering work to complete the required operation. From more than 7000 eligible sites across the UK, only 64 reached the Scheme’s Gold Award standard and from these, one site, the Glenfarg Water Treatment Works project was judged to have been the most considerate site of all.

Following this achievement, the Scottish Construction Centre developed a Case study on the project, listing key initiatives and measures taken during the works.
