Monitor Review Group

The Considerate Constructors Scheme has a Monitor Review Group, consisting of five of the Scheme’s most experienced and competent Monitors, with nearly all members having recent or current Board experience.

The aim of this group is to maintain and improve Monitors’ performance standards through a consistent and coherent approach to their selection, training and ongoing assessment. The MRG meet twice a year to review all aspects of monitor performance, training and guidance requirements.

Ensuring consistency amongst Monitors in the scoring of reports is always a key factor for the Scheme and amongst other things; the Monitor Review Group’s role is to implement procedures that help maintain these high levels. As with the past few years, standards of consistency are improving all the time, between Monitors on both a regional and national level.
