Awards overview

The Considerate Constructors Scheme's 2013 National Company Awards have celebrated the most considerate construction companies of the last year.

The awards took place on the 15th November at the prestigious Plaisterers' Hall in London where companies registered with the Scheme were recognised for working to the highest levels of consideration towards the public, their workforce and the environment.

This year's awards were the biggest and best yet, with the Scheme presenting the highest number of awards ever to companies which have made the greatest contribution towards improving the image of construction.

From hundreds companies registered with the Scheme, only 73 received awards consisting of 37 Bronze, 24 Silver and 12 Gold. From the Gold Award winners, Maxiflow Ltd was given the prized title of Most Considerate Company while Norriskips & Waste Management and Tasker Catchpole Ltd were presented with Runner-up Awards.

The awards were presented by Julia Evans, Chief Executive of the National Federation of Builders (NFB).

Commenting on this year's awards, Scheme Chairman David Watson said: "Many congratulations to this year's winners; it is an achievement to be proud of. Those companies which received an award have gone above and beyond the expected and have set the standards for others to follow. It is a great pleasure to be involved with the awards and to celebrate those companies which have made the greatest contribution towards improving the image of our industry."

The awards ceremony was enjoyed by all and the Scheme would like to offer its congratulations to every award-winning company.

The Scheme has published an award winners' brochure which includes all of this year's winners as well as photographs from the day. All 2013 National Company Award winners will receive a copy. If you would like to download a copy of the brochure, click here.
