Chairman's Introduction

mike-petterWelcome to the new edition of the Company Registration Industry Image, where you can read about the latest news and developments for registered companies.

Just recently the Scheme celebrated the registration of its 1000th company, Dem-Master Demolition, which is a great achievement in the Scheme’s history and further proof of the industry’s desire to project a more professional, considerate image.

The Scheme is also delighted to launch a third type of registration which is aimed at companies that supply goods and materials to the industry. These companies also play an important part in the construction process and share an equal responsibility to carry out their work with the highest regards to those around them. Supplier Registration allows these companies to register with the Scheme and prove that they too care just as much about considerate construction as companies that have already registered.

Feedback from the Scheme’s registered companies identified that additional Scheme products would help promote registration and new signage for registered companies will be available very soon. More information on what new products will be available can be found in this issue.

As mentioned above, this year has already seen the Scheme achieve a number of milestones, and to celebrate this success, there will be two competitions taking place for registered companies. One includes entering a raffle to win a year’s free registration, open to both companies and suppliers, and another will look to identify the company who has been the most creative and innovative in promoting their registration. Further details on these two competitions can be found in this issue.

This will be the last Company Registration Industry Image as we look to refresh the style of the Scheme's newsletter, and in the future provide just one publication containing all the latest Scheme news and information encompassing all types of registration.

Thank you for your continued support of the Scheme and I hope you enjoy reading this issue.
