Company Registration competitions

Competition #1 - Raffle to win a year's free registration

To celebrate 5 years of Company Registration, the Scheme is giving 10 companies the chance to win a year’s free registration with the Considerate Constructors Scheme.

Since Company Registration was launched in 2009, hundreds of companies have registered with the Scheme to promote their considerate efforts and demonstrate to the public that they are proactively choosing to improve the image of construction. This year also sees the Scheme register its 1000th company, so to celebrate achieving these two milestones, 10 companies can win a year’s free registration by submitting just a few details online via the Scheme’s website.

The competition is open to all companies, including those who are already registered. To enter the competition, companies will be asked to enter a few details online and all submitted entries will be entered into the prize draw. Ten companies will then be selected at random to receive a year’s free Company Registration with the Scheme. If a company already registered is chosen, they will receive their next year’s membership free – no refund on their current year will be given.

The competition will be launched shortly on the Scheme’s website and registered companies will be informed when they can enter.

The Scheme would like to thank all registered companies for their continued support and for their contribution towards improving the image of construction.

Competition #2 – Promoting your registration

This competition will run later in 2014 and will be open only to existing registered companies.

The Scheme would like to identify how registered companies are promoting their registration, and the most innovative and creative company will be awarded a year’s free registration. The Scheme will collate all the examples and will publish them in a special brochure and online so that they can be shared with the rest of the industry.

Registered companies will be asked to submit examples of how they promote their registration with the Scheme to the public, clients, contractors and other stakeholders. A panel of Monitors will then review every entry and decide on the best example. The company whose example is identified as the most creative and innovative will be awarded a free year’s membership with the Scheme. The year’s free membership will be applied when the company’s registration is up for renewal, and no refund will be given for the current registration period.

This competition is currently set to be launched in August and more information will be sent to registered companies shortly.
