New Client Partners

The Considerate Constructors Scheme is pleased to announce that ASDA Group Ltd, Staffordshire County Council and John Lewis Partnership have now joined the Scheme as Client Partners. The new partners take the total Client Partner membership to 21 organisations.

Client Partners work closely with the Scheme to build further links between the Scheme and industry clients, with particular reference to developing information routes and materials aimed at the client sector. New members will enjoy involvement through a schedule of meetings.

ASDA Group Ltd

Asda Wal*Mart as a client have signed up to the Considerate Constructors Scheme not only because it's the right thing to do but it adds another dimension to our existing robust independent health, safety & environmental auditing process. This commitment in turn ensures we are exceeding our client requirements under the client duties of CDM (Construction Design and Management Regulation 2007). All our supply chains have signed up in line with our 2011 HS&E commitments, the Considerate Constructors Scheme goes beyond the site requirements into the local community ensuring as a client we demonstrate our commitment in minimising any effects from our construction processes.

Staffordshire County Council alt

We are delighted to accept the invitation to become the first County Council Client Partner of the Considerate Constructors Scheme. The highway and property projects that we deliver have a huge benefit on the lives of local communities. The standards set by the Scheme contribute to both a positive image of our services and the construction industry, and support our focus of working with people at a local community level.

We are looking forward to being an active Client Partner and informing the development and direction of the Scheme.
