Hoarding Comp 2013

Over the summer, the Ivor Goodsite Hoarding Competition saw construction sites across the UK engage with their local communities by inviting children and young people to help design and decorate a colourful and creative site hoarding.

This was the first year of the Hoarding Competition and the response from contractors eager to take part was fantastic. The competition saw entries from over 30 construction sites, each one as colourful and imaginative as the other. Each site was judged and three winners have been picked.

The winning teams are:

Brookfield Multiplex, with the help of students from St Constantine Primary, Pirie Park Primary, Riverside Primary and St Saviour Primary

Laing O'Rourke, with the help of students from Oldham College

Mulalley, with the help of residents from Springfield Rise

Judging the competition was extremely difficult as every entry showed what a great effort everyone had made. Everyone who entered the hoarding competition will receive lots of Ivor goodies.

A brochure which contains information on the Hoarding Competition and every entry, including photos of each decorated hoarding, will be published very shortly.
