SCHEME NEWS

Changes to National Site and

Company Awards

The Scheme is revising how it recognises the highest performing constructors at both the

National Site and Company Awards.

The Scheme is making changes to

the National Company Awards in

2015 where it will recognise the

highest achievers within bandings

of company turnover in line with the

Scheme’s registration levels.

The bandings for Company

Registration are:

• Up to £250k

• £250k to £3.5M

• £3.5M to £10M

• Over £10M

Companies will nowbe recognised

alongside their peers with Bronze,

Silver and Gold Awards, as well as

Most Considerate Company and

Runner-up Awards being presented

within each banding.

2016 National Site Awards

In response to feedback from

contractors both large and small, and

after consultation with various parties

including the Scheme’s Associate

Members, the Scheme will also be

making changes to the way the

National Site Awards are allocated

from2016 onwards.

Currently, the highest scoring 7.5%of

all eligible sites are reviewed by the

Scheme’s Awards Panel for National

Site Awards with Bronze, Silver and

Gold Awards allocated as appropriate

and theMost Considerate Site being

selected. The other high scoring sites

that were considered for theMost

Considerate Site Award are then

presentedwithMost Considerate Site

Runner-up Awards alongside their

Gold Awards.

As part of the Scheme’s ongoing

development and to bring these

awards in line with other key industry

awards, the Scheme will be splitting

the National Site Awards into value

bandings in 2016 as detailed below:

• Up to £1M

• £1M to £5M

• £5M to £20M

• £20M to £50M

• Over £50M

Therefore, within each value range,

the highest scoring 7.5%of all eligible

sites will be given awards with a Most

Considerate Site and Runners-up

Awards also being recognisedwithin

each banding. The ceremonies will

still take place in the first half of the

year at prestigious venues around the

UK where project teams from sites

of all sizes will come together to be

recognised for their achievements.

These changes will recognise the

highest performers across the

industry and ensure that every single

project and company that registers

with the Scheme has the same

opportunity to be recognised for their

considerate credentials.
