COMPANY REGISTRATION

Case study: Linfoot Country

Homes Ltd

PLEASE TELL US A BIT ABOUT

YOUR COMPANY AND SOME

OF THE PROJECTS YOU HAVE

WORKED ON.

Linfoot Country Homes is a family-

owned and run house building

company specialising in high

quality housing developments in

the South Midlands.

Since forming in 1985, it has

established itself as a premier

developer, producing high quality

new and converted properties

including apartments, town houses

and country cottages. It also

constructs substantial four and five

bedroom family homes and Grade

ll listed conversions.

All development and conversion

projects are designed with

sensitivity to reflect the character

and nature of the adjoining area

and great consideration is given to

conservation areas and the setting

of listed buildings.

Linfoot Country Homes never uses

standard house types but employs

highly experienced and talented

architects to ensure that each

scheme has an individual identity,

with the use of appropriate material

for the locality.

Although from time to time

projects are carried out in the

larger urban areas, the majority

of developments are located in

the small rural towns and villages

of South Warwickshire and

Worcestershire.

No matter where the project

is located, the same individual

approach is taken with respect

to the design of the scheme and

a great deal of personal care and

attention is given to each property

to achieve the highest possible

building standards.

Projects can vary from five to thirty

units and may be as diverse as

the conversion of a listed water

mill into luxury apartments to the

provision of affordable cottages

for local people in a small rural

settlement.

Most of the schemes currently

undertaken involve working with

housing associations and these

successful partnerships have

resulted in Linwood being regularly

approached by other housing

providers to work on affordable

housing initiatives.

HOW HAVE YOU FOUND

REGISTRATIONWITH THE

SCHEME ANDWOULDYOU

RECOMMEND IT TO OTHER

CONSTRUCTION COMPANIES?

The effect of registration with CCS

has surpassed all expectations.

The company has always

considered itself to be a caring

company for its customers, staff,

community and the environment.

After registration it realised the

many other steps which can be

taken, most of which do not involve

much more effort or cost.

The company is firmly committed

to the Scheme and now holds

regular discussions on new

initiatives which can be put in

place. In fact some of the initiatives

already adopted are proving to be

extremely cost effective.

We would certainly recommend the

Scheme to all companies involved

in construction work whether large

or small. All can benefit.

Linfoot Country Homes Ltd has been a member of the Considerate Constructors Scheme

since 2010 and has won three National Company Awards.
