The Scheme andNFB continue a

prosperous relationship

The long-standing relationship between the Scheme and the National Federation of

Builders (NFB) has entered a new era with the appointment of their new Chief Executive.

The Prince’s Trust hosted a stand at the Scheme’s ITIOC event

Richard Beresford has been newly-

appointed at the helm of the NFB

and was warmly welcomed to his

post by the Scheme’s own Chief

Executive, Edward Hardy, at a

meeting in December.

Edward Hardy congratulated

Richard Beresford and the

pair cemented their on-going

partnership and outlined their

joint visions for the future of the

industry and their commitment to

considerate construction.

Commenting on the meeting,

Edward Hardy said: “I was delighted

to welcome Richard to his new

appointment and I very much look

forward to working alongside him

in the future.

“We are proud to have a long-

standing partnership with the

NFB and over the years we have

developed a fantastic working

relationship. It was a pleasure to

meet with Richard and to discuss

future opportunities and how we

can move forward together.”

The NFB are already a founding

Scheme Supporter, a relationship

designed to enable close working

to promote best practice across the

construction industry.

The NFB’s National Chair, John

Maddock, also hosted the Scheme’s

National Company Awards 2014 in

November.
