Not only can you demonstrate to
the public that you have made a
commitment to improve the image
of construction but your peers will
also know the standards that you
expect on all of your projects.
To help registered companies make
the most of their membership and
ensure people are aware of the
commitment that has been made,
the Scheme would like to compile a
guide which contains examples of
how its registered companies have
promoted their membership.
This will be a great resource for
new companies looking to raise
awareness of their registration
and may even provide existing
companies with new ideas.
Examples could include how
members of the public are
informed at the start of a project,

how they’re kept informed during
the construction and how other
stakeholders are also made aware.
All registered companies will be
asked to send in their examples of
promotion to the Scheme shortly.
Once all entries have been received,
one company judged to have sent
in the most inventive example
will be awarded a year’s free
Ten lucky winners have been drawn!
Last year the Scheme ran a
competition for any UK construction
company to submit their details via
the Scheme’s website to be in with
a chance of winning one of ten free
In addition, all existing registered
companies were automatically
entered into this draw.
The Scheme’s Board met for their
first meeting of 2015 earlier this
month and during the day, Scheme
Chairman Mike Petter took some
time out to help pick out the ten
lucky winners who will receive a
year’s free Company Registration
with the Scheme.

revealed in the next issue of
