CHAIRMAN’S INTRODUCTION

A big thank you to everyone who attended the

Scheme’s National Site Awards 2015 – our biggest

and most spectacular celebration of considerate

construction to date.

The Scheme is still joyous following

this year’s National Site Awards,

which yet again proved to be

an incredible showcase of how

construction sites the length

and breadth of the country are

improving the image of the

industry.

The Scheme never fails to be

impressed with the increasingly

innovative and resourceful ideas

devised by site teams, both

large and small, to enhance the

reputation of the construction

industry.

From creative and eye-catching site

exteriors, through to potentially

life-saving safety innovations

and imaginative community

engagements, the awards have

become a beacon for everything

which makes the UK construction

industry so great.

This year an incredible 798

accolades were presented to a

host of registered sites across the

UK, all of whom demonstrated a

firm commitment to considerate

construction.

None more so than Berkeley

Homes Ltd, which received the title

of Most Considerate Site 2015 for

its Roman House project.

Going above and beyond the

Scheme’s Code of Considerate

Practice, Berkeley Homes

demonstrated an exceptional

performance in every aspect of the

Code and I wish the team many

congratulations on this fantastic

achievement.

I’m delighted that the UK’s sites

continue to strive for improving

standards and would like to thank

them for their continued support of

the Scheme.

Please enjoy this special awards

edition of

Industry Image

and let’s

continue to build on our successes.

Welcome

Mike Petter
