Issue 38

Coming soon – the 2015

National Company Awards!

For the first time in the Scheme’s

history, the prestigious awards

ceremonies are being held over

two days to reflect the increasing

numbers of high performing

registered companies.

The highest performers will now

also be recognised within bandings

of company turnover in line with

the Scheme’s registration levels.

The bandings are:

• Up to £250k

• £250k to £3.5M

• £3.5M to £10M

• Over £10M

Both ceremonies will be held in the

historic and ornate surroundings

of Plaisterers’ Hall, in the City of

London, on Thursday 5 November

and Friday 6 November.

The Scheme has now reviewed all

eligible entrants and those who

have been nominated to receive

an award will be notified in the

coming weeks.

Commenting on the forthcoming

National Company Awards, Scheme

Chairman Mike Petter said: “The

2015 National Company Awards are

our biggest and most diverse in the

history of the Scheme.

“Not only are they being held over

two days, due to the increased

numbers of considerate companies,

but these new value bandings

allow the industry to recognise the

highest performing companies

according to size.

“The Scheme is very excited

to be hosting its biggest ever

company awards and recognising

the fantastic work being carried

out by the UK’s most considerate

registered companies.”

Last year’s awards were also held

in the grandeur of Plaisterers’

Hall, where more than 300 guests

saw over 80 accolades presented

to registered companies, all

demonstrating the highest levels of

consideration.

As always, the awards are

presented by a leading light in

the construction industry and last

year was no exception, with guest

presenter John Maddock, Chairman

of the National Federation of

Builders, handing out the honours.

John presented a total of 85

awards, including 37 Bronze, 27

Silver and 16 Gold. Two of the

Gold Award winners received the

top accolade of Most Considerate

Company and three others were

crowned as Most Considerate

Company Runners-up.

For the first time in the Scheme’s

history, the prestigious titles of

Most Considerate Company was

shared between two firms– leading

commercial refurbishment and

re-fitting company, Elev8 Interiors

Ltd, and local authority housing

maintenance contractor, Kier

Sheffield.
