Last June the Scheme introduced a new type of registration for suppliers.

September 2015

Issue 38

A year after its launch

Supplier Registration going

“from strength to strength”

The dedicated registration for those

providing goods and materials

to the construction industry

has exceeded expectations. 18

companies in total have pledged

to be considerate suppliers to date,

including a number of well-known

suppliers such as HSS Hire and

Wernick Hire.

Previously the Scheme focused

primarily on sites and companies,

but soon recognised the need for

a new type of registration to give

suppliers the opportunity to make

a commitment to improving the

image of the industry.

Suppler Registration does just this,

acknowledging the role suppliers

play in delivering the very fabric of

the industry and encouraging such

companies to play their part as

considerate constructors.

One registered supplier, Mattison

Scaffolding Ltd, has commented on

the benefits of joining the Scheme.

Mattison’s HSEQ Manager John

Houlihan said:

“Mattison Scaffolding Ltd are

proud to be accredited to the

Considerate Constructors Scheme.

It promotes our practices on a

corporate, commercial, social and

environmental platform.
