Under the Sea
A mesmerising underwater theme was created by pupils in recognition of Galliford Try’s client Subsea 7, a global
seabed-to-surface engineering construction company.
A huge 600 pupils from Devonshire Primary School took part in the hoarding competition, with 96 pupils’ pictures
selected for the display.
Meanwhile, 60 pupils entered from the Overton Grange secondary school, with 12 pieces of artwork selected for
the aquatic-themed hoarding.

Burnt Oak Primary
Working to the theme of ‘Glorious Britain’, these children created a vibrant and bold collage, featuring the Union
Jack as a striking centrepiece.
Berkeley Homes (West London) Ltd worked in conjunction with pupils and staff from Burnt Oak Primary School to
create this attention-grabbing public piece of art.
Prior to the painting day, members of the Berkeley project team from Victory Pier, Pier Road, Gillingham, visited
year 5 pupils with Scheme mascot Ivor Goodsite, to inspire them about the construction industry.
