Seminars and Workshops -

make the most of registration

These events are held throughout

the year all across the UK and are

suitable for site managers, head

office support staff, clients and

anyone who would like to know

more about the Scheme.

All of the Scheme’s Seminars and

Workshops are hosted by specially

trained Monitors who inform,

inspire and provide guidance,

suggestions and real life examples

of considerate practice.

Individual sites, companies or

suppliers can also benefit from

a PrivateWorkshop – where an

experienced Monitor provides

tailor-made guidance for groups

of delegates at their place of

All of these events provide

opportunities to ask the Scheme

Monitor questions regarding

considerate construction and best

practice to enable you to improve

your site’s operations.

Attending a Seminar also includes

a two-hour Continuing Professional

Development (CPD) certificate, and

a Workshop includes a three-hour

CPD certificate.

Seminar: An introduction

to the Scheme

The Seminar is designed for

contractors, clients, head office

staff and other professionals who

are unfamiliar with the Scheme,

providing a general introduction

and an understanding of the basic

requirements of registration.

This is unlikely to be suitable for

those who have worked with the

Scheme before, and may find it

more useful to attend a Workshop

“Good course, well presented and

keeps us focused on the Considerate

Constructors Scheme, with some

good ideas for getting better scores

in the future.”

“As new contractors to the Scheme

this was a good introduction and

overview. Attending the full day is, I

think, important.”

Attending a Seminar costs £95

(+ VAT) per person.

Workshop: Performing

Beyond Requirements

The Workshop is aimed at

those who already have a good

understanding of the Scheme and

wish to advance their knowledge

of considerate construction.

Workshops explain how to perform

beyond the basic requirements

of registration and give examples

of what sites have done to win

National Site Awards. They include

lively discussions with attendees

as to how they have implemented

the Scheme on their sites, as well as

generating ideas on how to make

further improvements.

“Excellent delivery and knowledge,

lots of opportunity for discussion,

excellent presenter, job well done!”

“Great course to be a part of –

would recommend to Head Office

for others to join.”

Attending a Workshop costs £130

(+ VAT) per person.
