December 2015

Issue 39

the Scheme to promote the very

best the industry has to offer.

“ITIOC has become a crucial date in

the construction industry calendar

– an unmissable opportunity for

construction professionals to gain

invaluable knowledge from the

experts to improve every aspect of

their operations.”

The Scheme also took the

opportunity to introduce two new

developments – a female costume

character and the Building Social

Value assessment.

The female costume character

will work alongside Ivor to help

promote construction to a younger

audience. She has yet to be named,

so delegates were asked to select

one for her. The new character is

in the final stages of development

and will be officially launched in

early 2016.

Building Social Value assesses

the impact a construction site

has in creating social value

within the local community, local

economy and local environment.

More information on this will be

published shortly.

The Scheme would like to once

again thank everyone who

attended ITIOC and hopes they

found the event informative and

Thanks are extended to the

organisations who supported the

event through presentations and

stands. The Scheme looks forward

to working with them in the future.
