The Spanish City Dome
The iconic Spanish City domed recreation building
- being restored to its original 1910 façade by
Robertson Construction – was chosen by pupils at
Marine Park First School.
The eye-catching pinnacle of the building – the
dome itself - has been derelict for years and is
currently undergoing a major transformation by
Being positioned directly opposite the building, the
school chose this icon on their doorstep as a fitting
entry for Honor’s Big Build.
Using recyclable materials from the construction site
itself, the striking model building was designed and
created by 30 pupils whose futuristic interpretation
