The 7th annual media lunch took place earlier this month at the Ivy restaurant in London, where members of the press joined the Considerate Constructors Scheme’s Directors and management to discuss the Scheme’s progress.

At the lunch, the Scheme’s Chairman, Robert Biggs, told the gathered journalists about Scheme developments during 2009 – including the launch of Company Registration and the registration of the 40,000th site.

The Sales and Marketing Director of Constructionline, Phil Prince, then spoke about recent links between the Scheme and Constructionline, which now asks its members whether they use the Scheme.  Phil also explained that the Scheme now offers Constructionline members a 10% discount on their first year Company Registration fee.

All those who attended received press information about changes to the CCS Board of Directors, the introduction of the new 2010 Site Registration Monitors’ Checklist, and the Company Registration promotional discount that is being offered to the National Federation of Builders and Chartered Building Companies, as well as to Constructionline.
