Registration is open for all construction activities across the UK to take part in Open Doors 2023.
Open Doors is an initiative that allows the public to see behind the hoarding and to visit participating construction sites across the UK, as well as offices, factories and other facilities. With over 150 locations, it is a brilliant opportunity for those interested in finding out more about the construction industry and what it has to offer.
We encourage all registered activity to consider signing up for Open Doors 2023. Scheme-registered sites can participate for just £500 per site, the usual price is £1500.
Open Doors is a great opportunity to bridge the gap between the public and the industry, and the Scheme is pleased to support this year’s event which also allows the local community and those that may be impacted by construction activity to see how the buildings and structures in their area are constructed.
Visitors can also book their place now to go behind the hoardings on a variety of projects, including hospitals, schools and universities, theatres, libraries, viaducts, and production and training facilities. Schools and colleges in particular are encouraged to book group visits and open the eyes of their students to the opportunities available in the sector.
