North Somerset Council has supported CCS by requiring all major building projects to register with the Scheme. To have been asked to become a Client Partner, after one of our sites was awarded the Most Considerate Site in the <£1m to £5m banding, is recognition of the efforts the council has made to support the Scheme. We see the Scheme as demonstrating to both end users and the general public that construction can have an effect on those around the sites and it is our intention to ensure that people are not adversely affected during the construction phase. To date, both our framework contractors, Kier and Willmott Dixon, along with their partner builders, have demonstrated great care and attention and have received numerous awards that have been recognised nationally.
