Tell us what makes you glow with pride

To win a Leading Lights Award, you’ll need to submit an awards entry explaining how your team gone above and beyond the Code of Considerate  Practice.

 So, maybe you’ve explored new methods to reduce carbon or found ways to keep teams smiling. Maybe you’ve planted a community garden or   given local charities a boost. Whatever you’ve achieved, tell us – so we can bring your fantastic work to light.

For Organisations

Celebrating those leading the way

There are three categories for sites and organisations to enter, with three sub-categories in each:

Community Awards

For respecting the local area

  • Community Enrichment
  • Commitment to Local Sourcing
  • Community Engagement

Environment Awards

For working sustainably

  • Plastic Reduction
  • Energy Efficiency
  • Natural Environment Enhancement

Workforce Awards

For supporting wellbeing and diversity

  • Physical Wellbeing
  • Mental Health
  • Equality, Diversity and Inclusion
Each category will have several winners, so that we can celebrate entrants of different sizes. In each of the three categories there’ll be one overall winning organisation and one overall winning site, as well as one overall winning Ultra Site (a large, ongoing project where a significant number of suppliers are registered under our scheme).

Showcasing the stars of our industry

Individuals play a huge part in making sure that projects have a positive impact. That’s why we’re also looking for our:

Community Champion

Someone who has gone the extra mile for local people

Environment Champion

Someone who has championed sustainability

Workforce Champion

Someone who has encouraged wellbeing, diversity and inclusivity among their colleagues

Similar to sites and organisations, individuals will be able to enter their submission under community, environment and workforce, where they will be free to submit any topic they like under these three categories.
