ENTRY REQUIREMENTS

The awards are given at the discretion of the Considerate Constructors Scheme, and we reserve the right to withdraw or refuse an award at any time during the process or afterwards. 

SITES, ULTRA SITES AND ORGANISATIONS AWARDS

  • To enter the 2023 Leading Lights Awards, a Site (including an Ultra Site) or Organisation must have been registered with the Considerate Constructors Scheme between 30 June 2022 and 9 June 2023 and have had at least one monitored visit
  • The initiative or project in the Award submission must have taken place, even if partially, between 30 June 2022 and 9 June 2023
  • Those submitting entries will need to be conforming in all areas to the Code of Considerate Practice (this means a minimum score of 27 must have been achieved in the latest monitoring report)
  • You must be compliant within the category you are submitting. This means a score of nine in the latest monitoring report in the relevant category (for example, if you are entering a Site in the Workforce category, you must have achieved a score of nine or over in the Workforce section of your latest Monitoring report)
  • There is a maximum of three entries per Award type (Site, Ultra Site, Organisation), and these can all be in the same category and sub-category

INDIVIDUAL AWARDS

  • Any individual, whether nominated or self-submitted, must have been part of a Registered Site (including Ultra Site) or Organisation between 30 June 2022 and 9 June 2023 and this site/organisation must have had at least one monitored visit
  • The initiative or project in the Award submission must have taken place, even if partially, between 30 June 2022 and 9 June 2023
  • These Registered Sites or Organisations will need to be conforming in all areas to the Code of Considerate Practice (this means a minimum score of 27 in their latest monitoring report)
  • Individual Champion Awards are not specific to job role nor seniority level
  • There is no limit on the number of individuals that can be put forward for an Award, however each nominee can only be entered once in each category (Community, Environment, Workforce)
  • Individual submissions must be validated by their Site Manager/Line Manager or a Director of the business. The submission form will ask you to provide contact details for two of the above backers, which will be contacted via email in order to validate the application
