Mace for the initiative Diversity & Inclusion programme implemented at project level

Mace is an international consultancy and construction company employing more than 6,500 people based in five global hubs. As part of its Diversity and Inclusion (D&I) strategy, Mace has six employee-led networks that play a vital role in creating an inclusive culture and environment across the company:

  • EDIN (Ethnic Diversity Inclusion Network)
  • Enabled at Mace
  • Mace Military
  • Parents at Mace
  • Pride at Mace
  • Women at Mace

One of Mace’s larger projects, with 900 staff representing more than 20 different nationalities, replicated this, with each network led by someone in the project. Together the teams built and implemented a D&I action plan specific to the needs of the project. Each adapted initiatives from its Mace counterpart, developed new ideas and facilitated the sharing of best practise. Campaigns and activities for engagement were rolled out to all workers (onsite and remote).
