We are really excited to have the Scheme partnering with ecobuild 2018. We will be using the Scheme’s Code as an industry standard to help ensure the event is achieving high standards in key areas such as being an inclusive and respectful event for everyone as well as minimising the environmental impact of the event through waste and resource management.
The Scheme’s fundamental values represent everything we work hard to promote at ecobuild, and together, I am confident that we will be able to have a positive impact on the industry and its image.

We are pleased to support this Scheme and its aims to improve the image of the Construction industry as well as delivering on reducing any adverse impact of works on the general public and the workforce. This aligns with SMAS Worksafe and SSIP and it was natural for us to support and work with CCS towards reaching those goals.
UK Construction Week
Halls 9,10,11 & 12
It absolutely makes sense to apply the principles of the Considerate Constructors Scheme to a major national event of this scale. UK Construction Week is the construction industry’s largest event, covering more than 70,000 square metres and with more than 650 exhibitors. It is, in effect, one big construction site for many days and has many of the same impacts.
UKCW Event Director
Having this partnership with the CCS is a fundamental part of our commitment to ensuring a considerate event of the highest quality, which also promotes a very positive image of construction to everyone involved during the week and behind the scenes.
