The Considerate Constructors Scheme has published a number of films which help explain the different aspects of the Scheme. There are five films currently available to watch online, download from the website or view on the Scheme’s YouTube channel.
This film introduces the Scheme and its aim, and provides an overview of how it encourages and rewards the construction industry to adopt more considerate practices. This film only discusses Site Registration because Company Registration and Supplier Registration had not been launched when the film was made.
Affected by works
For members of the public affected by construction activity, it explains what they should expect from a registered site and how the Scheme can help mediate in the event of a complaint.
A film for site managers
Developed to provide information for site managers working on registered sites. It discusses the Scheme’s expectations and how the site can address the three key areas of consideration. It also explains what to expect and how to prepare for the Monitor visits.
A film for site operatives
This film informs site operatives about the Scheme and what to expect when working on a registered site. In turn, it also explains what the site expects from its operatives and highlights a number of actions that can easily be done on site which will help improve the image of construction.
National Site Awards
Designed to introduce the Scheme’s annual National Site Awards where the most considerate UK sites are recognised and rewarded for their contribution towards improving the image of construction.
Image of Construction
The Considerate Constructors Scheme’s increasingly popular annual Image of Construction event is a must-attend for everyone who is registered with the Scheme. It provides a unique opportunity to learn more about all aspects of considerate construction from senior Scheme Monitors, award-winning sites, companies, and leading UK industry organisations.
