The Scheme’s first of two Client Partner meetings this year took place on the 18th February 2014 at the London Bridge Hotel.

Client Partners are invited to attend meetings each year so that the Scheme can update them on current news and forthcoming initiatives, and to ask for their comments from a client’s perspective.

The meeting began with a presentation by Scheme Chief Executive Edward Hardy, who provided an update on Site and Company Registration statistics, the new banners which have just been launched and other developments due this year.

Client Partners were then divided into two groups to take turns in discussing the topics ‘How Clients can assist sites in meeting the highest expectations of the Scheme’, ‘Clients input in assisting the industry in attracting the next generation’ and ‘Development of the Scheme into a best practice hub’. After the discussions had taken place, the chair of each group summarised their discussions to the other attendees.

The discussions had by the clients were lively, with each company eager to contribute which produced some great feedback and positive comments.

The next Client Partner meeting is scheduled to take place in July.
