The Considerate Constructors Scheme promotes high standards and accountability within the construction industry. It is a voluntary scheme, meaning that Scheme-registered contractors and organisations are actively trying to improve the way they work, by raising their standards in being more considerate to communities, the environment and their own workforce.
All Scheme-registered activity must follow the Code of Considerate Practice and is visited by an independent Monitor who scores their performance and addresses non-conformance. We aim to help the construction industry be more considerate so that your experience when construction activity is happening around you, as a member of the public or workforce, is better.
Our Public Support team aims to help anyone who may have a concern or feedback relating to construction activity, whether it is Scheme-registered or not. Find out more about our construction complaints procedure below and how to get in touch with us for feedback.
