About today’s event

The Considerate Constructors Scheme National Site Awards recognise the efforts that constructors have made to be the most considerate neighbours. They celebrate the construction sites that are creating value in the communities surrounding them, those that are respectful of the public, the workforce, and the environment. Our National Awards are one way in which we support and drive positive change in the construction industry.

The Scheme has been rewarding the UK’s most considerate sites since 1998 when we launched the National Site Awards. Today like then, the Awards are one of the most recognised construction industry awards in the sector and represent an exceptional accolade that recognises the sites that have made the greatest contribution towards improving the image of construction.

Winners are presented with either Bronze, Silver or Gold depending on their performance against the Code of Considerate Practice, within similar project value bandings to ensure fairness.

Out of the very highest performing Gold Award winners, one site per value band is honoured with the prestigious title of Most Considerate Site (Runner-ups are also recognised, if applicable) of the UK.

Today we are also celebrating our Ultra Sites for their superior commitment to the Code of Considerate Practice. Together with our Partners and Registered Activity, Ultra Sites are leading the way in improving the image of construction.

Congratulations to everyone receiving an award today!
