Monitors’ Regional Meetings
The second run of the Scheme’s bi-annual Monitors’ Regional Meetings took place in October, allowing the 107 Scheme Monitors to meet colleagues from their region once again and to participate in open discussions about monitoring concerns and Scheme developments.
Each meeting was chaired by one of the Scheme’s Directors and Chief Executive, Edward Hardy, and focussed this time on the new 2010 Monitors’ Checklist, which received a very positive response.
As always, work was also carried out on ensuring consistency of scoring among Monitors and there was ample opportunity for discussion on Scheme initiatives and new ideas.
Edward Hardy commented:
This set of meetings was both constructive and beneficial, resulting in numerous useful suggestions. Our Monitors are a vital component in the success of the Scheme and I am constantly impressed and encouraged by their dedication and hard work.
