The levels of consideration shown to tenants at this busy company were exemplary. Scheme Monitors visited a number of sites, and in each case, the company standards were clearly being maintained and often exceeded. Great courtesy was shown towards each tenant, with operator photo identity cards on display at all times for the residents’ reassurance whilst also taking the time to discuss what the work involved. The visits themselves were often timed to help avoid school runs and other busy periods, and operatives were prepared to wait if a tenant’s return was delayed.
Details such as the placing of dust sheets from the main entrance to a tenant’s flat were widely observed, as was the provision of bottled drinking water and chemical toilet facilities where supplies were to be unavoidably disrupted. The success of this comprehensive approach was evidenced by excellent tenant relations and zero housekeeping complaints being recorded across the whole company.
Rydon Maintenance also provided valuable community support through free redecoration of a local community centre, repairs to a children’s playground and the staging of an art competition. Supported by high environmental standards and consistently improving site visit scores, this company demonstrated a clear commitment to achieving the very best in considerate practices.
