National Site Awards 2013 announced
The Considerate Constructors Scheme’s National Site Awards 2013 have now been announced and will take place between the 15th April and the 3rd May.
More than 3000 guests are expected to attend 11 ceremonies, taking place in Edinburgh, Manchester and London where the most considerate construction sites of 2012 will be rewarded for their efforts in improving the image of construction.
All construction sites registered with the Scheme which completed on or before 31 December 2012 were eligible to be considered for an award. From those eligible, over 700 will receive either Bronze, Silver or Gold Awards which rewards those sites’ excellent efforts of considerate construction. From the Gold Award winners, only one site, for their outstanding contribution towards improving the image of construction, will be awarded the title of Most Considerate Site 2013; with those considered for the title receiving Most Considerate Site Runner-up Awards.

The Considerate Constructors Scheme’s annual National Site Awards recognise sites’ exceptional standards of consideration towards local neighbourhoods and the general public, the workforce and the environment.
Commenting on the forthcoming awards, Scheme Chairman David Watson said:
Once again even throughout these tough times for our industry, many sites have excelled to not only maintain standards, but surpass what has been achieved in previous years. The award ceremonies are an excellent showcase for these sites, and give the industry the opportunity to reward those site teams that have gone that extra mile. I wish to congratulate all those who have been nominated for an award.
