Considerate Constructors Scheme Limited’s Partners form an industry leadership group that engages and
supports the Considerate Constructors Scheme through collaboration, as well as being a group that
commit and achieve through the Considerate Constructors Scheme’s framework.
You (the Company) are asked to apply to join our group and form a partnership with us (Scheme
Partnership) by making an application in writing. If successful, you will be invited to become a Partner
Partnership entry requirements
You may apply for Scheme Partnership, at a group level or as a subsidiary company of a group.
You must also enter into the Partnership Memorandum of Understanding.
Partner commitments
You commit to do the following as a Partner:
Maintain the Scheme Partnership for a minimum of three years
Conform with the Scheme Partnership commitments
Register construction projects, over 12 weeks duration, through to completion, and include the following suggested wording in tender documents, or other documentation issued to contractors: ‘Allow for ultra site, site, organisation and supplier registration with the Considerate Constructors Scheme, including the appropriate fee, and ensure conformance with our Code of Considerate Practice’
Promote employee awareness of the Considerate Constructors Scheme and what it means
Nominate a primary contact to attend Partner meetings and be an ambassador for the Considerate Constructors Scheme within the company, facilitating with connection points at all levels
Nominate an executive at c-suite level to act as a sponsor for the Scheme Partnership
Provide a link from your website to the Considerate Constructors Scheme website
Be an advocate for the Considerate Constructors Scheme, its values and positively promote the use to your supply chain. Commit to supporting the industry to raise standards and build trust through being an advocate for positive change
Review performance of contractors and suppliers, encouraging continuous improvement against the Code of Considerate Practice Framework
Actively support, promote and engage with our public outreach tools (including public support line and public concerns, Construction Map, public surveys and data collection). Commit to disseminate and promote our Public Insight Survey across all registered sites twice a year.
