Wellbeing, Health, Safety and Environmental Policy Statement
At the Considerate Constructors Scheme the creation of a healthy and safe workplace for our colleagues (employees, monitors and other business partners), and the minimisation of our environmental impact, is paramount in all that we do. All colleagues are required to comply with our policy and commitments:
Helping the construction industry leave a positive impact on the wellbeing of their workforce, reduce their impact on communities and the environment, and leave a positive legacy as a result of their activity
Working with stakeholders in the pursuit of good practice in WHSE
Identifying, understanding and managing the health, safety and environmental risks/impacts in everything that we do
Enabling the creation of a positive culture, holding each other accountable for our actions
Proactively support our colleagues wellbeing, health and safety, and seek out ways to reduce our environmental impact
Empowering and encouraging colleagues to work in a safe way and reduce the environmental impact of their work
Intervening if we believe that work is unsafe or unnecessary environmental damage will result from an activity
Learning from our successes and incidents to deliver a healthier, safer, more environmentally friendly workplace
Continually improving and setting measurable objectives and targets in business plans to enhance WHSE performance
Developing and testing prioritised incident response and recovery plans to protect our all colleagues, and the environment, and minimize the impact to our partners and the business
Ethically conducting our business and complying with regulatory and other applicable requirements.
Our WHSE management system enables the delivery of these policy commitments, is structured in line with recognised good practice, and is routinely assured. We review our performance regularly and publish relevant information.
It has been approved by the Directors of the Company and is signed by Amit Oberoi, Executive Chairman.
