2 December 2018 | Issue 50 The Considerate Constructors Scheme is a non-profit-making, independent organisation founded in 1997 by the construction industry to improve its image. Since then, the Scheme has registered and monitored over 100,000 sites and has been instrumental in many of the improvements enjoyed today. Construction sites, companies and suppliers voluntarily register with the Scheme and agree to abide by its Code of Considerate Practice. The Scheme is endorsed by local authorities, the government, main contractors and major industry clients.
