Scheme obtains IIP Bronze Award

The Considerate Constructors Scheme is pleased to have recently been awarded the Investors in People (IIP) Bronze Award, three years after achieving the Standard IIP Accreditation.

The Bronze Award is a higher level of accreditation awarded to companies who have demonstrated best practice in their commitment to developing its workforce.

Launched in 1991, Investors in People offers a business improvement tool designed to help businesses develop performance through their people. It provides tailored assessments designed to support organisations in planning, implementing and evaluating effective strategies and is relevant for organisations of all sizes and sectors.

The IIP Assessor who awarded the Scheme the Bronze Award commented in the summary report:

The Considerate Constructors Scheme continues to meet the Investors in People standard at Core level. The company has been assessed against a wider number of criteria which have been successfully met and this elevates the level of Award to Bronze.

This is a significant achievement which everyone shares in and as such warrants many congratulations.

On receiving the award, Scheme Chief Executive Edward Hardy commented:

We are extremely proud to receive the IIP Bronze Award which recognises the Scheme’s commitment in developing its staff. The Scheme believes very strongly in the importance of investing in people and I would like to thank our staff for making the Scheme the success it is today.
